Last Friday, seventh grade students experienced a long-standing tradition spearheaded by Mr. Mihalak. They traveled to the Albion Borough Park to explore the local watershed and reinforce their classroom lessons with a cross-curricular, hands-on experience. The 24-year old tradtion never gets old, as new findings are always uncovered during this field trip.

if you will have a student in college for the 26-27 school year, I just received word that the FAFSA application opened a week early and is now live. Happy applying!

studentaid.gov

If you've never completed a FAFSA before you will need an account first. Students need an account and at least one parent/guardian does also.

Here is the link to create those accounts:

Mrs. Thiem’s Humanities classes visited downtown Erie today to see local examples of Italianate, Richardson Romanesque, Tudor Revival, Classic Greek, Queen Anne, and Gothic Revival architecture. They are pictured here at the entrance to The Church of the Covenant, an excellent example of Gothic Revival architecture. According to junior Hannah Adams and senior Kyra Schwartz, the Curtze-Watson Mansion is an eight, but Gannon’s Old Main is a solid ten!
