This afternoon Mrs. Wood and her Grade 9 ELA students had the honor of interacting with Holocaust survivor Joel Nommick. Mr. Nommick joined our students virtually in our Performing Arts Center. This cherished opportunity was provided to Northwestern HS in collaboration with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. The students had the chance to interact with Mr. Nommick, and inquire about his life as a Holocaust survivor. This afternoon was a very humbling and honored experience. A very special thank you to Mr. Nommick for sharing his life with our students.
