WELCOME BACK! What does the first day of school look like?
Arriving to School
Upon arriving at school, students will make their way into the cafeteria. Students are able to grab their FREE breakfast and take a seat in section 1, 3 or 4 of the cafeteria. They will be dismissed from the cafeteria at 7:22 AM. See below for dismissal locations for the first hour of school.
Locations: Grade 9 & 10 to the Gymnasium / Grade 11 & 12 to the Performing Arts Center (PAC)
During the first hour of the day students will receive their chromebooks/chargers/bags, locks and locker assignments, schedules, and forms. Students will have plenty of time to place all items in their locker and get situated for the school year before heading to their first period class.

Students will be bringing home their Emergency Medical, Nurse Medication Authorization, and Acceptable Use of the Internet and Technology Form home for both you and your child to sign on the first day of school. All of these items are conveniently on 1 piece of paper.
STUDENT BEHAVIOR DRESS CODE EXPECTATIONS
We are back in school and ALL rules, including dress code, will be enforced. Shorts need to be appropriate in length, and midriff-style shirts of ANY kind are NOT to be worn. Midriffs are not to be visible. Backpacks will be in lockers, and hats and hoods will be off. Put yourself in a position to be successful on the first day of school.
Mrs. Herath & Mr. Stauffer will be meeting with students on Wednesday and Thursday this week to discuss these specifics as well as other building level rules.
Lunch
Cafeteria tables are set to picnic style. When students arrive to the cafeteria they are to be seated. Students will be dismissed from their table to the lunch line. Tables are NOT to exceed 8 students.
Be a leader, no one eats alone in our cafeteria. Step up and include others!
There is NO cost for student lunches this year. Students may keep money on their account for extras and a la carte items if they choose. Cafeteria accounts must remain in good standing.
Dismissal
Our school day will conclude at 2:20 PM. Students will be dismissed to the buses and they will make their way home. Our staff will be outside on the walkways to ensure students are making their way to the correct buses.
