Powderpuff game tonight

What better way to spend a fall Friday night than at an old fashioned powderpuff football game?

Northwestern High School’s senior and sophomore girls will take on the juniors and freshman at 7 p.m. tonight, Friday, Nov. 4, at Albion’s Roger’s Field. Gates open at 6 p.m.

The male senior football players coach the teams.

The class of 2018 is sponsoring the game to help pay for prom the senior class trip. Concessions including beverages, hot soups, snacks and baked goods will be available.

Spirit wear will also be available for purchase or order.

The cost of the game is $3 for students and $5 for adults. Children under 5 get in free. Anyone who brings a winter item - like hat, gloves, scarf or mittens - for the "Toys for Wildcats" drive will get $1 off admission.
