Northwestern Middle School students were asked to help design and build the Albion Area Fair display for the Albion Area Chamber of Commerce this year. This year's theme was "we've got good things growing."

To go along with the theme, students were asked "what do you want to be when you grow up?" They created flowers, writing on them their answer.

The answers ranged from author, to singer, to architectural designer, to teacher, to pro football player to computer software engineer. Students helped design the display and offered their feedback as to what kind of businesses they'd like to see in Albion.

Students also learned what a chamber of commerce is and the importance of shopping and supporting local. Many students said they'd like to see more restaurant options in our area.

Several students also helped set up the display at the fair.
