Second Grade
Second grade students studied biomes last month. Each class studied a different biome, and the students were challenged to become experts on their topic, and teach their peers about what they learned. Mrs. Bennett's class studied the ocean, Mrs. Henley's class studied the rainforest, and Mrs. Nuber's class studied the grasslands. All of the students completed research projects and planned a presentation to share with their classmates. Friday, April 27 was biome presentation day. Each second grader presented their information in front of their classmates, teachers, and some special guests. Among those special guests were Superintendent, Mr. Hansen, and School Board President, Mr. Swanson. The presentations were a wonderful opportunity for our students to share their learning with others. Our students made us all very proud!
