Northwestern High School National Honor Society held a blood drive Nov. 19. where more than 40 Northwestern students and faculty signed up to donate blood.
The drive was one of three blood drives the service organization puts on each year. National Honor Society members set up for the drives during first period, run the drive in shifts throughout the day and tear down at the end. They work with representatives from the Community Blood Bank.
"It's a really simple thing to do, but it helps a lot," senior National Honor Society member Isaac Merritt said.
